Vangent short-listed as Finalist for Adobe MAX 2008 Award
16th October 2008
Vangent announced today that it has been short-listed for an
Adobe MAX 2008 Award for its One Touch Gov solution.
Adobe Max are global awards and this year attracted over 730 entries from some of the world’s largest and most innovative organisations. Now down to the last three as the only non-US finalist in the Public Sector category, Vangent stands alongside NASA and Bean Creative.
One Touch Gov utilises Adobe technology to literally transform the experience of a citizen when they telephone their local council. Subject to their consent they will be immediately assessed and advised of their entitlement to a whole host of services way beyond the original purpose of their call.
Vangent is well known for delivering award-winning customer service on behalf of its clients and this recognition is testament of its ability and achievement in software engineering in support of pre-eminent customer service.
One Touch Gov was developed in partnership with London Borough of Southwark, and has attracted much interest from other Local and Central Government agencies.
An Adobe MAX Award is a prestigious achievement, and is awarded for the best uses of Adobe technology in creating engaging experiences, whilst rewarding innovative and exceptional software solutions.
Vangent has been invited to present and demonstrate their One Touch Gov solution to the judges at the Adobe MAX Event in San Francisco, where the winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Tuesday 18th November.
Vangent may be competing against NASA, but their success seems to be in making complex things more simple… after all, it’s not rocket science!
